Sheet Music Update

[UPDATE]
That was the best five bucks I have ever spent in my life. You have never seen someone as happy as that cute old lady when I brought her that music. When I left, she was wheeling herself to the piano room to start playing.

I'll bet everyone in that home will be so glad to NOT hear "I'll be Home for Christmas."

When I'm old and in a home, will you come hang out with me and bring me presents, too?

You may be cash poor but what a big HEART. And think of what a healthy heart you will have next year as you get fit.

That's AWESOME. I wish I had the gumption to go do something like that.

And see that's the best part of this past year. If you hadn't given up the spending, this moment wouldn't have stood out the way it did. You would still have bought the songbooks because you are kind and loving, but now you notice the impact and appreciate what a difference that five bucks meant to *so* many people. You rock!

Are you gonna get a boxer puppy? Did wear down Marvin Gardens?

Thank you for this blog! You've really got me thinking about my spending more - and realizing how many changes I have to make when we move for my husband's job next year (and our income goes down dramatically). Keep it up - especially the writing.

Awww and now I bet all the old folks will enjoy hearing I'll be Home for Christmas when it is actually Christmas time.
You're a sweetheart June! Marvin is a lucky man!

That was such a nice thing to do. I am really touched. I can just imagine how that woman must have felt. I'm sure you more than made her day--probably her whole year. It may have been $5 for you but I'm sure it was priceless for her. Somebody should make a credit card commercial about you.

You make this world a better place, June.

Money well spent! What a kind thing for you to do. I'm sure that music is worth a million dollars to that little lady. It takes a very special person to volunteer like you are doing. :-)

I wish you would come see my dad! Maybe you could bring him a cardboard cutout of martha!
