Okay. So this is the first hump I have to walk over, which isn't bad, really. And also? Proportion? Not so easy to achieve, here, when trying to photograph a hill. Trust me, it goes up, this road. Enough to make you run out of breath.
But HERE is the bad part. See all the way at the back of this photo? That is ALL ROAD going UP.
I know that I am not any Francisco Scavullo, who is the only famous photographer I could think of, and he was a fashion photographer so it's a bad example. But anyway, trust me. Hill is steep.

Oh I believe you .. I live at the top of a hill and try as I have I can't photograph it to show it's full gruesome height. Makes my complaining about having to walk up it kind of whimpy. But walking up it makes me feel like the old and out of condition chook that I am. Linda :o)
I considered just putting a photo of K2 up there and trying to pass it off as my hill, Anonynous Linda.
That hill is enourmous! It doesn't seem safe to walk up it with a snake-filled shoulder and no sidewalk. I hope you'll accept the next ride offered by a friendly townsperson.
Thank you. That was very fast! And I do believe that if I had been you seeing a snake that I would forever walk down the center line of the hill from then on. They just gross me out much too much.
You see, Jenn? You ask, you receive.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention in my first comment .. These days I always get my 'dates' to come pick me up and bring me home! That works! Linda :o)
June, if you ever walk up that hill again, I agree, I'd either walk up the center line, take any offers of rides or wear boots! Nice and HIGH boots. Hip waders perhaps. Or, better yet, thigh high patent boots. I have a feeling those might ensure you get a ride!
