I think maybe the recent visit from your mother has stimulated the current maternal instincts from said birds' mother. Or perhaps God is telling you and MG to spring forth and be fruitful.
Well, being a chicken farmer and all, (I have 3 hens) I can tell you that hens lay one egg per day (most days). They don't just lay a whole nestful at once.
Actally the whole egg laying thing still amazes me.
I, too, went to an animal opthalmologist this week. My dog has juvenile cataracts and will need surgery on one eye. There go his dreams of being a seeing eye dog.
